Winter, 2012
It’s cold and a bit snowy today, as I look out the windows at the mountains. I’m inspired by the gorgeous views and what I like to call the season of waiting.
Waiting for the rebirth of nature, waiting for those first green shoots of spring; this is a time when I really like to dig in and write.
I’m working on two big projects at the moment. My next young adult historical novel – this one set in 1925 New York City – will be out early in 2013. I’m calling it a “noire romance”, because it features a pair of love stories, a gangster, and a ghost. We’re still working on the title…so stay tuned.
And the project after that is a middle grade fantasy series, with talking animals, angels, demons, and one young boy who sells his soul to save his sister.
If you want to follow my writing life more closely, please check out my blog. But I do hope you’ll spend some time touring my website, and get to know me and my books.
Thanks and best wishes – Janet
